The Olympics are over! =( it's a sad time cuz it was fun watching the olympcs. But i'm glad the regular tv is on! Friends and ER! Can't wait. Of course that means i go back to studying too. it's fun watching. kinda makes me wanna join an event and compete. maybe even win a medal. =) But i do plan to go to the olympics one day. as a spectator of course. anyone who wants to come with me is welcome! it would be so fun.

Yesterday we had a 4 hour break in between classes. so 3 of us girls decided to go out for lunch. i mentioned to them about this japanese restaurant that i saw just down the street from the school. Apparently they've never eaten japanese food before. they just think "raw fish." i told them it's one of the best foods in the world! so we went there for lunch. i was kind of worried about them liking the food because they're such picky eaters. but i told them what was good and they ordered what i had suggested. We ordered the spider roll, chicken teriyaki, and beef teriyaki. It was funny cuz when i pointed to the picture of the spider roll after my friend ordered, she yelled,"THAT'S WHAT I ORDERED?! It's the ugliest thing on the menu." The miso soup and salad came first, and none of them touched it. i didn't wanna be the only one eating, so i sorta sipped my soup and picked at my salad. they were amazed by how well i used the chopsticks. (btw, my friends are italian and domican.. none of them asian). the lunch came and they were both satisfied with what they got. they called me the sofisticated one of the bunch cuz of all the foods i eat. next time i told them we're going to eat thai bbq. apparently i'm their link to the asian world. hahaha.
